I love St. Paul. The turnout was unbelievable for last night's rally! I went with a friend and we got downtown about 7:00 or so, and then spent about 2 hours wandering through downtown St. Paul. The lines to get into the Xcel Center spanned over a mile and a half. But, we got in, and even managed to grab some spring rolls at Ruam Mit Thai on the way.
I've never seen a line that long in my life -- just unbelievable!
Just one wish: would you pundits out there stop saying that Minnesota is going to be a 'battleground state'? It isn't. 30,000+ people (and I think that's a conservative figure) spending a Tuesday night standing in line just to see Obama? C'mon!
I've never attended a political rally in my life, but this one was fun. Like, really, really fun...
